School Committee Meeting - Wednesday, July 11, 2007
Warren Conference Center, Ashland

The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 3:15pm. Mr. Young, Ms. Allen, Mr. Guiffre, Ms. Littlefield, and Ms. Newman were present. Also present were Ms. Wong and Ms. Gregory.

DISCUSSION ITEMS
Sprague Fields Task Force: The committee discussed a request from the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Project for representation on the task force. The committee also discussed converting the representative of the Board of Health to non-voting status because the chosen representative is a Health Department employee, not a member of the Board of Health.

Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously

VOTED: To expand the Sprague Fields Task Force to 17 members, including 14 voting members and 3 non-voting members with membership as follows:

Motion CARRIED (5 - 0)

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously
VOTED: To go into Executive Session for purposes of collective bargaining, with no intent to return to public session.
